E-mail Setup for Netscape 7
You will need the following information.
- Netscape 7x for Windows®
- Your login ID (user name)
- Your password
Netscape and click on the envelope in the lower left-hand
corner to open the Netscape Mail program. If you
have never configured Netscape 7 for e-mail before,
an Account Wizard should appear now. If it doesn't,
click Edit, Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings, and
the New Account button.
Make sure there is a dot next to Email account.
2. In the white box next to Your Name:,
type your name as you would like it to appear when
you send e-mails. In the white box next to Email Address:,
type your email address
3. There should be a black dot next
In the first white box labeled Server Name:, type pop3.nethere.net
In the second white box labeled Server Name:, type mail.nethere.net.
4. In the white box labeled User Name:,
type your username (ex: johnsmith).
5. In the white box labeled Account
Name:, enter whatever you would like to call this account
(ex: NetHere Mail).
6. Verify that all the information
entered is correct. If anything needs to be changed,
use the Back button to go back to the appropriate screen
and make the necessary changes.
7. Congratulations, You just set up
Netscape 7 for E-mail use.
